Powered by a\u00a0Mopar<sub>\u00ae<\/sub> 360 small-block, Parker\u2019s\u00a0Dodge was consistent during all six rounds of eliminations in reaching the finals, where he downed Eugene Monahan. The Wally trophy was Parker\u2019s second NHRA national event career win, and also earned him $500\u00a0for being the Dodge Top Finisher in Stock Eliminator at Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>Longtime Mopar Sportsman Racer Ed Longhaney from Wade, North Carolina,\u00a0advanced to the second round of\u00a0eliminations\u00a0in his SS\/KA 1974\u00a0Plymouth Duster 360. Unfortunately, Longhaney\u2019s race weekend ended earlier when he left too early and\u00a0red lighted in round two. For his\u00a0efforts, Longhaney will\u00a0receive $500\u00a0for being the Dodge Top Finisher in Super Stock at the\u00a0inaugural\u00a0Virginia NHRA Nationals.<\/p>\n<p>The Dodge Top Finisher award, now in its second year, awards $500 to the Stock Eliminator\u00a0and Super Stock drivers who advance the furthest behind the wheel of a Mopar-powered Dodge, Chrysler or Plymouth racecar.
