There\u2019ll be Dodge Challenger SRT<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Demons, SRT Hellcat Redeyes, SRT Hellcats, Scat Packs and more launching\noff the well-manicured starting line of Summit Motorsports Park, also\naffectionately known as \u201cAmerica\u2019s Racetrack\u201d among racers and fans alike. Along with some fast street machines, these guys\nand gals will be hanging out together in the pits exchanging info on how to\nmake their Challengers and Chargers hook harder and go faster. There\u2019s a great\ndeal of camaraderie in this group that share the same high-octane passion running\nthrough their veins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNMCA is thrilled for this\nweekend\u2019s Dodge\/\/Mopar HEMI Shootout,\u201d said Steve Wolcott, President and CEO,\nNMCA. \u201cWith over 75 pre-registered late-model HEMI [engine-powered] Challengers, Chargers and\neven some [SRT] Hellcat-powered Jeep<sub>\u00ae<\/sub> Trackhawks, this is looking to become one of our\nbiggest and fastest events of the season. Here, our Mopar Dodge Challenger Drag Paks\nwill duke it out with the Cobra Jet Mustangs and COPO Camaros. With the recent\nrule changes regarding a smaller diameter pulley for the 354-cubic-inch\nsupercharged HEMI engine, our teams will be using this weekend at the NMCA All-American\nNationals to test the new combination.&nbsp;Don Schumacher Racing (DSR) Drag Pak Crew Chief Kevin Helms also has\nsome tricks he wants to try out on the Drag Paks prior to next week\u2019s NHRA U.S.\nNationals down at Indy.
