Underneath, all the original\nStealth stuff is there: the V6, the automatic transmission … but you\u2019ve got to\nfigure this will sell cheap … and the smiles it\u2019ll get at every corner are\nsurely worth it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
1968 Dodge A100 Van<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Speaking of the movie Cars<\/i>, Tom and Ray\nMagliozzi of Car Talk<\/i> fame bought their brand of dad jokes to the film; Tom\nwas depicted as a 1963 Dodge Dart convertible and Ray was an A100 van. This A100 has a smooth hotrod appeal: yellow\npaint, chrome wheels and a great stance. Nothing terribly fancy underneath: a 318 V8 and automatic transmission,\nbut these have fantastic curb appeal and give you a great excuse to say \u201cDon\u2019t\ndrive like my brother.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1992 Dodge Viper RT\/10<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n In the early \u201990s, the Dodge Viper set the\nworld on fire: A rip-snorting V10 engine and those curves made anyone behind\nthe wheel look like a superhero. That\ninspired the 1994 debut of the TV show Viper<\/i>, where the car was part of a\nfictional federal crime fighting team.\nIt was about as good as you’d expect that to be (hint: it wasn\u2019t!), but it\nwas fun watching the cars. This\nparticular Viper is super original and has just over 300 miles on it – a time machine back to the beginning of what\nbecame a 25-year legend!<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1968 Dodge Charger R\/T 426 HEMI\u00ae<\/sup><\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n There\u2019s been a bunch of recent buzz about a\nparticular green movie car driven by a famous actor in an equally famous chase\nscene. In that film, he was chasing a\n1968 Dodge Charger through the streets of San Francisco and if you watch\nclosely, the Charger lost a hubcap. Check\nthat, the car actually lost EIGHT hubcaps during the scene. Despite the continuity mistakes, that\ncemented the Dodge in the world of car enthusiasts. This one at Barrett-Jackson will certainly\ngive you reason to talk about movies … and you\u2019ll do it in a hurry as this is a\nnear perfect restoration of one of only 211 \u201968 HEMI engine-powered, 4-speed Chargers! <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Phoenix metro is a fun place in\ngeneral … and in the middle of winter, the weather is about perfect. Expect lots of sunshine, cool (even chilly) temps\nin the morning, but 60s and 70s for daytime highs. If you can break away from the auction,\nthere\u2019s plenty for a car enthusiast to take in.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n Scottsdale is more than just an auction; it\u2019s\na full-on lifestyle event. Watching it\non TV is fine, but in person, it\u2019s a whole different beast with luxury vendors,\nfashion, artwork and top-notch hospitality. Keep your eyes open too: You\u2019ll see TV and movie stars there. But this time, the cars are the stars.
