{"id":36150,"date":"2020-04-08T15:00:04","date_gmt":"2020-04-08T19:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dodgegarage.com\/news-api\/?p=36150"},"modified":"2024-03-25T11:23:02","modified_gmt":"2024-03-25T15:23:02","slug":"mopar-lowliner-concept","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test.api.dodgegarage.com\/news\/heritage\/2020\/04\/mopar-lowliner-concept.html","title":{"rendered":"Mopar<sub>&reg;<\/sub> Lowliner Concept"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Customization of classic trucks continues to be a hot trend in the aftermarket world, so Mopar<sub>\u00ae<\/sub> designers rescued a 1969 Dodge D200-series heavy-duty pickup truck to transform it into the Candied Delmonico Red and Dairy Cream Mopar Lowliner Concept for the 2019 SEMA Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Designers fully boxed the original C-channel frame of the rear-wheel-drive truck, substantially lowered the ride height and lengthened the wheelbase for a more dramatic stance. In the front, the Lowliner wheels are 22 inches by 9.5 inches and ride on 285\/35-22 tires. The back of the\nLowliner features custom taillights with integrated backup lights, reinforcing\nthe modern take on a classic truck. The headliner is also leather with a Mopar\nOmega M logo stitched into it. Custom-tailored tan carpet adorns the floor. The\noriginal 1968 steering wheel has been retained with the original Dodge fratzog\nemblem on the horn ring cap. Instrumentation is reworked with seven custom\nMopar gauges mounted to a unique \u201cengine turned\u201d aluminum panel.
