{"id":36694,"date":"2020-04-09T12:00:18","date_gmt":"2020-04-09T16:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dodgegarage.com\/news-api\/?p=36694"},"modified":"2024-03-25T11:23:02","modified_gmt":"2024-03-25T15:23:02","slug":"lets-build-an-exo-car","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test.api.dodgegarage.com\/news\/how-to\/2020\/04\/lets-build-an-exo-car.html","title":{"rendered":"Let\u2019s Build an Exo Car!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>My biggest group of friends are racers, and\nwhen we get together &#8230; or thanks to The Virus, we DON\u2019T get together &#8230; we find\nourselves chatting about &#8230; racing.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do you make a car faster?&nbsp;Add horsepower?&nbsp;That works to a point.&nbsp;A \u201cBBK\u201d?&nbsp;Big brake kits help, but\u2026&nbsp;Let\u2019s take a tip from the legendary British Formula 1 team owner and designer Colin Chapman. He drove it on the street, but had to wear a helmet to keep the rocks from flying up in his face &#8230; how awesome is that?!&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So now we\u2019re dreaming: We want an exo car with MUSCLE!&nbsp;What if we found a Dodge Challenger that was wrecked in the rear?&nbsp;You\u2019re going to take most of that off anyway.&nbsp;Then, cut off the body, weld up a cage and have at it! Are you with me?&nbsp;The looks you\u2019d get on the street would be epic, pushing the limits of the \u201cWTH Factor\u201d &#8230; when folks look at you driving it and mouth the words \u201cW. T.
