For those of you\nnot familiar with this iconic event, the One Lap of America covers nearly 4,000\nmiles, seven states and eight challenging tracks with both production and\nspecially modified vehicles competing against the clock and other drivers. It\nwas this time last year that SRT<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> engineer David Carr, along with freelance\nphotojournalist and DodgeGarage contributor David Hakim, set off in a specially\nmodified Dodge Durango SRT Pursuit Concept. Affectionately called \u201cSpeed Trap\u201d, this\nDurango was powered by a supercharged 6.2L HEMI<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> V8 engine from a Dodge Challenger SRT\nRedeye that was pushing 797 horsepower. Here\u2019s an awesome video of Speed Trap\nripping up the tarmac of Grissom Air Force Base, the first stop during the 2019\nOne Lap of America.
