And it was the simple strategy of the Neon \u201cHi\u201d campaign\nthat not only inspired the project, it ignited a lifelong passion for the\nupscale muscle of FCA vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"550\" height=\"490\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dodgegarage.com\/news-api\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/JudeOgene001.jpg\" alt=\"vehicle ad\" class=\"wp-image-41851\"\/><figcaption><em>Neon ad from the \u201990s that sparked Ogene\u2019s passion for FCA<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI remembered thinking that in a business with\na lot of bean counters, the creatives were really winning the Neon campaign. I\ncouldn\u2019t help but think that these cars were being built to inspire people,\u201d\nsaid Ogene. \u201cBecause they sure did me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To do his research on the marketing project, Ogene\nstopped by Koons Dodge in Tyson\u2019s Corner, Virginia, to check out the Neon. In passing,\nhe mentioned the class project to the Sales Manager. As fate, and\nabove-and-beyond service, would have it, the dealer offered to drive the car\nout to the school for Ogene\u2019s presentation so that everyone in the class could take\na test drive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt was like a rollercoaster,\u201d said Ogene.\n\u201cPeople would get out of the car and get back in line to go again. According to Ogene, he and Buck had a pretty memorable\ntime together in grad school, accumulating A\u2019s in class, and points at the DMV.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After graduation, Ogene flipped from Dodge to\nChrysler, trading in Buck for a 300M, which was later traded in for a 300C. \u201cMan,\nI loved that car,\u201d Ogene recalled of the 300C. A lot of things have changed in that time:\nmy hairline and my midsection, to mention a few.
