With over 40,000 attendees and 1,000 vehicles on display, it\u2019s one of the best events year-round to showcase and judge custom vehicles. Twelve pre-1937 vehicles had the honor to compete in America\u2019s Most Beautiful Roadster (AMBR) competition; and while only one can prevail, eleven walk away with a second-place award. Our favorite entry this year? A 1929 Dodge DA roadster nicknamed &#8220;Six Shooter&#8221; because of its classic six-cylinder flat head engine. \u201cMost roadsters are Fords and some are Chevrolets. So, to see an extremely rare Dodge, especially one that is built to this level, was an unexpected treat for spectators,\u201d commented Ewald Penner, a well-respected builder in the community. He and his brothers, Otto and Kurt, operate Jellybean Autocrafters in Surrey, B.C., and are the proud owners of this runner up.
