When it was introduced in 1949, it was available as a two-door club coupe and convertible, a four-door sedan and a four-door station wagon. Several redesigns later and the name was retired in 1959. It made its return in \u201965 as a mid-sized B-body and dominated the industry. By \u201967, big blocks were added and the lineup included a 383 two-barrel or four-barrel, a 440 Magnum and a 426 HEMI<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> engine. With so many trim options and other details to choose from, many of the Coronets that survived until today have a combination that was one of very few.
