That\u2019s because they\u2019re so difficult to find, with only 680 HEMI engine-powered \u2019Cudas sold between 1970 and 1971. We\u2019ve seen survivors and restored examples go for nearly $1,000,000 depending on the condition and the options. If you factor in, say, a convertible top, the total number drops significantly and the resale value skyrockets. Roughly 2% of all the Plymouth Barracudas sold in 1971, HEMI engine or not, are convertible.
