The 69<sup>th<\/sup>\nDodge Power Brokers NHRA U.S. Nationals will be televised on the FOX Network\nbeginning at 2 p.m. EDT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt has\nbeen a long week here in Indy with Dodge events early in the week and then\nthree days of qualifying,\u201d said Hagan, the four-time 2023 NHRA national event\nwinner. \u201cBut I\u2019m very pleased with our six runs during qualifying as we didn\u2019t\nsmoke the tires once. And it prepares us for the always-tough Monday\neliminations. I feel that Dickie and the crew have done a great job in the hot\nand humid conditions that seem to come every year at the U.S. Nationals. It\nwould be so great to win another Dodge-backed event like we did in Denver with\nthe Dodge Mile-High Nationals. The\nformer Factory Stock Showdown champion at the U.S. Nationals will take on\nAustin Prock in the opening Top Fuel round. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cConditions\nare always very difficult here at Indy for the U.S. Nationals,\u201d said Pruett,\nthe 2023 Summit Nationals Top Fuel champion. \u201cIt\u2019s hot and humid, and it\u2019s easy\nto lose traction with that type of weather. So that Sunday afternoon run with\nthe 3.790 was very impressive, and I know our crew guys have been working hard\nto get this Dodge\/\/SRT Direct Connection dragster prepared for the tough Monday\nrounds.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 69th\nDodge Power Brokers NHRA U.S. Nationals has opening ceremonies at 8:30 a.m. EDT\nwith first round of Top Fuel set for 10 a.m. EDT.
