Pruett holds a four-point margin over Doug Kalitta, while Hagan\nleads by 36 markers over Bob Tasca III.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both\ndrivers and their crews put in sensational performances on race day with Pruett\nclocking consistent runs of 3.678, 3.697, 3.681 and 3.684, while Hagan posted\npasses of 3.895, 3.868, 3.875 and 3.883. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is\nthe \u2018double up\u2019 we have been looking for,\u201d said Stewart, the three-time NASCAR\nCup champion. \u201cI really don\u2019t know how I feel right now. We have been trying to\nwin both classes in a race for the past two seasons and we were close with Leah\nwinning at Norwalk and Matt winning at St. Louis. I\u2019m so excited for our\ndrivers, crews and partners like Dodge, Direct Direction, Mobil 1 and American\nRebel for this \u2018double event win.\u2019 And we have the points leads with two races\nto go. This win surpasses my very first Top Fuel win \u2014 the emotion I have\nfor it and the accomplishment of both Matt and I winning today and what it\nmeans for Tony Stewart Racing. And the wins coming in the Countdown are so\nimportant too. This is going to be on my top memory list forever. The last time\nI wore a Cowboy hat was here in 2018 at the Stampede of Speed when I won the\nsemifinal round in Factory Stock Showdown to take the championship with the\nDodge Challenger Drag Pak. Then I won the final round and got to raise two\nWallys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe know where we stand\nright now with the points lead. Neil Strausbaugh (Pruett\u2019s crew chief) has been\nabsolutely incredible this year. In his second season as lead crew chief, he\nhas really risen to the occasion when it matters. I was intimidated by this\nleft lane; it\u2019s very difficult to see the (starting line) bulbs. Matt told me\nit\u2019s not about getting up on the wheel for the final, just be focused, then he\nwon. Now I\u2019m really excited with the double win for TSR.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hagan, the\nthree-time NHRA World Funny Car Champion, qualified a solid fifth in the TSR\nAmerican Rebel Dodge\/\/SRT Hellcat and produced impressive runs in bettering\nPaul Lee, Alex Laughlin, Tim Wilkerson and John Force in the final round. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the\nfinal, Hagan recorded a 3.883 over Force\u2019s 6.818 to score his sixth win of the\n2023 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series and his 49th career victory. With\nthe win, Hagan now moves to a 36-point lead over Bob Tasca III with the series\u2019\nfinal two events set for Las Vegas (Oct. 27-29) and Pomona (Nov. 10-12). Now, we have two more left and we are\nready for them.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NHRA\nNevada Nationals, the next event on the schedule, will include two nitro\nqualifying sessions on Friday, Oct. 27, at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. PDT and two nitro\nqualifying rounds on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. PDT.
